I was recently tagged in a meme called “Eleven” by Thoughts From The Kitchen Sink.  If you haven’t read her blog yet, I strongly recommend you do. She is one strong woman, doing a great job juggling everything in difficult circumstances and making sure her kids have fun in the process.

In this meme, I have to thank the person who chose me – thank you Ms Thoughts From The Kitchen Sink! Then, I have to answer 11 questions set by her and I have to ask 11 questions of another 11 bloggers.  You follow?

So these are my answers to her questions:

In another lifetime I’d have been: an adventurer like Amelia Earhart . I’d love to have been around when adventuring, like flying a plane, was a real jump into the unknown.

Name a favourite book/ T.V or film character? Kalinda from The Good Wife on TV. It is impossible to guess what she is thinking or what she will do next.

If you changed your name what would you call yourself? The Very Intelligent Ms Wonderful.  ;)

What hobbies did you have as a child? One hobby was my interest in pen pals. I loved writing to people who lived in other countries and reading about their lives.  A pre-internet version of blogging maybe?

What 1 thing would make your life easier? A housekeeper!! Then I could concentrate on the kids and maybe have some time to myself.

Where do you consider your spiritual home to be? Beside the sea. I am happy once I can see the sea, listen to the waves and smell the fresh salty air.

Omey Beach, Co Galway. What more could you ask for?

If you had lots of time what hobby would you take up now? I like crafts, making cards, sewing, making jewellery, etc. So if I had time, there would be lots more homemade bits around my home. At the moment I don’t really have any spare time. This bird was the most recent thing I made with DD2 and that was last December.

Little felt Christmas Bird made by 7yo hands and a helping Mammy.

If you could choose a super power which would you choose? I think I’d like the power to fly like Superman. Then I could jet off to the Caribbean for lunch if I felt like it.

You have a day to yourself, what do you do? If money was no object, I would have spa treatments, then go shopping for a whole new wardrobe and finish with a posh dinner and champagne. I would blog about it too, so none of you would miss out!

Your favourite place to eat out? At the moment it’s the restaurant in The Rowantree in Ennis, Co Clare. The food is good, staff are friendly, and my kids love going there as a treat.

Are you more of a blog writer than a blog reader ? or do you do both equally? I think I do both equally. Sometimes I sit to write a post and end up spending an hour reading other people’s posts without having written a word!!

The 11 bloggers who I am tagging are:

I hope you will take part, if you don’t like this kind of thing then don’t worry – I won’t be offended!! And here are the questions:

1. Where is the one place in the world you would most like to visit?

2. Would you prefer to jump from a plane or climb a mountain?

3. What word/phrase do you hate the most?

4. How often do you blog?

5. What is your favourite season of the year and why?

7. Are you an organised person?

8. Chocolate cake or Vanilla Ice-cream?
